SilverStone Sugo SG13 Review
Manufacturer: SilverStone
UK price (as reviewed): £36.00 (inc VAT)
US price (as reviewed): $39.99 {ex TAX)
SilverStone rarely fails to send us a case that isn't interesting and combining this fact with its eager support for smaller cases, we usually get something that's intriguing to review. This time, there isn't a whole load to talk about, for the simple reason the SG13 is one of the cheapest and smallest cases we're reviewed.
Small doesn't automatically mean bland and featureless, but the SG13's super-low price tag does mean features have been reigned in. There are no fans included for starters, and only a single fan mount at the front of the case.

The steel chassis is thankfully fairly good looking thanks to large mesh panels and limited use of plastic. These mesh panels will have to play a key part in cooling, although we doubt many cases can match its vented surface area to case ratio. If the mesh isn't for you then there's a slightly different version with a closed front section and faux aluminium finish.

Externally, there's just the usual two USB 3 ports, two audio minijacks and a power button to speak of, with the latter located in the roof of the case. It probably comes as no surprise that there's no 5.25in bay as the entire front section is taken up by that large front mesh, but there's no slimline optical mount either. This is a shame as this would otherwise make for a perfect cheap HTPC case.
